It's that time of year again.
February 19/20/21
Same place as last year, right out of Pumpkin Center, Tonto Basin Az.
We will have Friday and Saturday dinner... Saturday and Sunday breakfast.
Camping/shooting, hotels and restaurants close for those wanting that.
Dennis will add more details when he gets back in town.
See you all there.

Thanks Kent - this is bound to be an excellent gathering. Was forced to miss for the first time ever last year, so really looking forward to this one. Also, a great opp for guys from cold climes to get some AZ warmth. Hoping we see some new faces of good guys from the "Fire

Hmmm, thats my boys B-day weekend. Will have to see if the wife has plans for him or not. Also will check the boys scouting schedule. I would like to make it again this year if possible.

I plan on being there. Weather might negate it but nothing else will.

It hits during my B-day as well and far enough after SCI that I might be able to talk my wife into it as well. Will I need further directions or will Pumpkin Center get me close enough?

C--p, P--p, and the rest of the ones for schiet, too.
I'll be down in AZ for the HAM hunt starting 5 Feb till the 15th, but probably won't get there until the 8th or so as I have a wedding to attend in N CA on the 6th on my way south, along with a memorial service the next day.
Guys, does this get together happen around that same weekend every year? If so, I might just have to put in for a general javelina tag and hunt in that unit. Tie a visit to you folks in with it.
Hope you all have fun.

So far it's always been during general javelina season. Dennis and Dave Price have hunted during the event. Units 22 and 23 are where we are at, we can point hunters in the right direction if needed. About any weekend in feb will have a hunt going.
I would say it'll be our traditional weekend for the annual event.

until our only remaining child gets out of high school - we're kind of stuck for anything happening in the "non-summer" months.
In preparation, I'm researching small pop-ups for the spousal unit. She's not as "tent and dirt" as I am....
