As you can see it is thought to be one of the best hog bullets.

Primary use will be for moderate range deer and hogs. My bud swears by the 95TTSX at 2900ish. I ordered 500 brass, 110SPHs, 95TTSXs, and 120SSTs. Also ordered 5 boxes of Hdy 120SST factory loads. Picked up a couple pounds 10x, a pound of 335, and a brick of #41s to get started. Couldn't find any 2200 around here, but I'll give it a shot with these to start. Have a few other powders that should work as well(5744, R7, 2015, and 4198).

Looking fwd to whacking some critters with it, I really like how it turned out. Hopefully it'll shoot laugh

Have a good one,

Loder

I know the 95s work great at 270 Win speeds.

Thanks guys!

Thanks for chiming in Mr H. I've probably browsed that thread a few times while thinking up this build, but I'll be browsing it again for sure.

Hoping to get this one out to the range on Friday. Haven't had time to load anything just yet, but have the 100 Hdy rounds to play with. If it does well with those, I'll try for a late season doe with it if the op arises.

Have a good one,

loder

They have a been a savior for an older hunter of ours who doesn't always hit where he shoudl. Shot a buck this year right behind the ..... rear shoulder..

Didn't make it maybe 70 yards.... Couple of other deer didn't make it 20 steps after good hits.

Just like a lot of results of the 257wtbys we have. Its why I decided to try it....

Then he shot a turkey last weekend.. I was scared... hit just under the wing butt..... ruined a quarter size of the top of each breast... that was it.... everything else perfectly edible..
