I wanted to see what the rest of you are having success with for taking phone pics via spotting scope or binoculars? In the past I used the Meopix adapter to attach my Iphone to my Meopta spotting scope but I got a new phone and my adapter no longer fits. I tried the universal adapter from S4gear but it didn't work for me. Am thinking of trying the Carson Hookupz adapter but was wondering what some of you may have had success with before I make another purchase.

I would certainly agree with Kelk. The phoneskope option is a good one because they make custom adapters to fit practically every major phone and most of the more popular spotting scopes. They will even custom make the adapter piece if they don't have one "in stock" as part of the regular inventory. I do alot of phonescoping. Not hunting related but rather from a birding perspective. I have several phonescoping adapters for both my Iphone 5S and Iphone 6S. One from the spotting scope company as a dedicated adapter for their eyepiece, one from Carson (the inexpensive hook-upz binocular adapter) and Phoneskope's Universal phonescoping adapter. Each has its pluses and minuses but I have to say that Phoneskope universal adapter is the most versatile simple because I can use it with a variety of different diameter eyepieces. Just wanted to share a recent pic I took of one of the nation's more popular birds with the phoneskope adapter.....

Excellent picture FrankD! Very cool.
I've got 2 nesting pairs of Bald Eagles that live close to my home, and several resident Red Tail Hawks in the neighborhood. I have not yet had a chance to use the Phoneskope and spotter on them yet, but I've been carrying all the gear with me in my truck just in case they give me an opportunity. Once the recent snow storm blows out, I'm going to run west of town and put it to use on the wintering herds of deer, elk, and big horns.
Great little product with wide range of uses.

Which spotter do you have?
I have the S2 and I had to send them the exact specs to make it and it works like a champ. I don't know if they've added it to the lineup yet but I know they have the dimensions.

Outdoorsmans adapters works great, run in swaro 10,12,15 binos, swaro 65hd and Leica 77 APO, great video and pics.
Have 3 different eyepiece cups, glue the phone piece to a extra phone cover. Great setup

We have the Carson adapter and it fits my iPhone 4&5 as well as my buddy's new edge and older Samsung. Works with binos or spotter well

I bought a Novagrade digiscope adapter for my spotting scope and really like how it works. Kind of expensive but worth it. Also works on my binos.
