Dream on. As for a bunch of career civil servants "revolting", and giving up their cush government jobs, I don't see that happening, either. All those Republicans who turned on Nixon for a simple break-in ought to really pat themselves on the back....
Democrats understand this isn't a game. This is for control of money, lives, and freedom of real people like you and me. They aren't gonna let a simple thing like morals or ethics get in the way of that.
