No sheet. There were several killed last year, but me and Jr. ran up on none. which was good.

I'm gonna try to find some snake shot for my .40. I wasn't too worried about it, but I know Roof was on edge. The first morning we were out, when the feeder went off, he about jumped out of his chair.

I figured you would have a Judge. 410's work great on serpents.

If you find a snake, just come get me. I love them

Sorry poobs, I have a policy. I don't leave live snakes behind me.

Remember we don't know what kind of blinds (at this time) are at this place. Ground or raised. We also need to find out if this place has a site in range, shotgun range etc. I'm sure Dan will come through on this soon as he calls them.

Snakes I don't worry too much about them. If they are out, I'll take care of them as needed. Of course I had snake chaps, wore them on just one hunt.
I didn't worry about the weather at Eds place 3 weeks later, we had a tornado (F1). So take the above with a grain of salt.

I agree, Gordon. Life is far too short to worry. Like you, I don't worry about snakes, I just kill those I run up on.

Speaking of stuff we wonder about, I wonder if I need to bring a couple fishing rods this time. I really enjoyed the time around the fishing spots last year.

Gordon, I was also wondering about the range situation. Last year, it was a good thing they had the range to at least site in because the airline beat the schit out of my hated Bushnell Banner series. My wife got me a new Leupold VX1 3-9x40 for my rifle, so hopefully it'll hold, but I'm still gonna want to shoot it. But with 13000 acres, I'm sure we can find a place to sight in.

I also hope they have a trap and skeet range. I had a blast last year. I could shoot trap all day. If they do, I'm gonna bring a couple of cases of trap loads this time. Last time, I didn't bring enough. Which brings to mind, I don't know if I ever thanked those of you who hooked me up. Thank you.

Tide: I hope they have a trap range for Jr. also, he was deadly and was having a great time as well.

I'd wonder if they'll let us drive around on the ranch? If so might pop the top & doors off the Jeep and try to photograph some exotics.

Briand Im pretty sure they have a sight in range, all these outfits do. A trap range OTOH I wouldn't count on....nice touch if they have it, but I was surprised to see it last year. The fishing was a pleasant surprise last year too, the ostrich....not so much

I am pretty sure they have a skeet thrower but not the fancy set up the ADL 7 had.Yes to rifle range for sight in

One thing this place does have that was lacking last year was far more acreage, I beleive 45 blinds and stands and most important HOGS!
