Snakes I don't worry too much about them. If they are out, I'll take care of them as needed.
That mean you're bringing your snake fighting cat?
I'd wonder if they'll let us drive around on the ranch? If so might pop the top & doors off the Jeep and try to photograph some exotics.
No on the barn cat, has cancer. Just letting him live out the rest of his life on the farm.
That the Co. Jeep you drive? Best way to own one. Would be fun to drive around a little but with the El Nino around, bet we will see a little rain so I will bring my "blue" color rain jacket. Will go way above the blue tape on a rifle.
Briand Im pretty sure they have a sight in range, all these outfits do. A trap range OTOH I wouldn't count on....nice touch if they have it, but I was surprised to see it last year. The fishing was a pleasant surprise last year too, the ostrich....not so much

I am pretty sure they have a skeet thrower but not the fancy set up the ADL 7 had.Yes to rifle range for sight in I'll find out about the fish ect. One thing this place does have that was lacking last year was far more acreage, I beleive 45 blinds and stands and most important HOGS!
Did Derek recommend this place to you? I guess he would know better than anyone.

Pat as we were speaking about not really set up for archery, he has 2 blinds that may work but he recommends against it...I know you will likely like that but I'll skip bringing my bow this go round Will sit with you and watch you and back up this a rifle though!
And I will bring a shotgun to see if it shoots straight. Some of you are good enough to find out for me. One Rem model 11 in 12 One Rem 11 in 16 for the good shooters.
You guys are mean - keep picking on our pig driving ostrich.
An ugly duckling he was, but that moment, driving those pigs for Joe to shoot, he was a beautiful swan.
His skill and determination, let alone his ability to flock those pigs out into the open for Joe, was priceless.
Always remember - we all have a part to play, men and beast.
Had I a ranch in Texas, I would have "bawed that 'strich and brawd ham haome, y'all"
Speaking of things that you did "brawd haome witchya", how has the cowboy hat been received by the Forsters & jaegers writ-large? Surely it's made you very popular:

They did have two male striches - I think the one who happily drove pigs for you was not the same one who hung around the lodge trying to mooch food and chase women.
If they were friendly they'd be fairly amusing critters, but I wouldn't trust him not to kick you into Mexico. I'd trust a big cat before I trusted that brainless kicking machine
