Cabelas has them in the bargain cave for $2279.99 900.00 off of list. Seems like a good deal??

Sold out, so it was pretty decent. If the pic is accurate, they were the old version of the EL Range, so you didn't miss the deal of a lifetime.
Those HD-B's for a grand off list price look to be a far better buy, in my opinion.

I didn't miss it. I bought them. I like the Swarovski a bit better than the Leica.

The best buy right now for "new" in a rangefinder is Doug's Leica HD-r for $1699. these have the angle technology.
Arguably the best rangefinder out there anyway.

Arguably the best rangefinder out there anyway. I looked them up and only found the 8X42 HD-R for $1899.00. You would still have to look hard at these, but I won't be trading my ELs in for Leica anytime soon...
