One of my hunting partners fell down this fall and broke the latch dog off his Rem 700 BDL floor plate. Since I'd cerakoted the rifle for him, I brought it home and told him I'd get a plate and coat it to match. PT&G has 700 floor plates for $38 so I ordered one. It almost fit and was real thick and different thickness on each side so I sent it back. They sent another that was much better quality, but didn't quite fit either so I sent them a picture and then returned it with the trigger guard assy. They called me and told me that they don't make floor plates for factory rifles, rather just the stuff they manufacture. I told the guy he might want to look at his website, because they sure don't make that clear and he said he would. This has been going on for a few weeks now. I told him to send my stuff back and credit my card. http://pacifictoolandgauge.com/92-remington-700-bottom-metal
