Planning to buy an entry level digital camera. Prices (in NZ$)

Canon Powershot A530 5 MP, 4x Optical zoom $350
Olympus FE170 6MP, 3X Optical $250
Kodak Easyshare C643 6MP, 3X Optical $250

But... Kodak Easyshare Z650 6MP, 10X Optical $400

So, for $50 more than the Canon I can go from 4X to 10X Optical zoom with the Kodak. Seems a good deal for the extra zoom. Anyone got any thoughts/experiences with the Kodak digital cameras?
