I bet it still shoots and is still a bunch of fun Hank Style and class goes a long way into the fun factor also.... but since Clark Griswold is having enough fun for the pair of us.. I can just spend my time shooting mine... all it is getting is range action at the moment courtesy of old Man Winter.... but come spring she'll see a few thousand rounds or more exploding Sage Rats....and the occasional seagull or coyote that might be after the remains of the little rodents... I may put some webbing on the stock just to 'class it up' a bit... Kinda like taking a Fiat, putting 20 inch rims with spinners on them and Montana plates.... and a gun rack in the back window...

Just fyi Trav....
the 53 V Max has a better BC and is flatter shooting... than the 60 V Max.....and has proven more accurate in my other 223s...
haven't tried them in the Howa... just because I quit buying most V Maxes except the 40s and the 53s now...
I have shot a batch of the 60 grain Hornady SPs.... those are sure darn accurate in the Howa when fueled by H 322...
