I recently picked up a new G19 and need to find some good OWB leather for it. Main use of this gun will be CCW.

I have an old Don Hume IWB clip on, but it's not performing to expectations. If I draw the weapon, it's a biotch to reholster due to the holster collapsing after draw.

All input is appreciated.

I am very happy with my El Paso Saddlery C-Force IWB. I like it even better than my Milt Sparks Versa Max II. Link

Not OWB but inside. I prefer my "highly customized" Crossbreed Supertuck. I've whittled about a third of it away.

I've got a couple of Galco concealment holsters that have been working well for many years now.

OWB is a Galco Avenger. IWB is the Galco Summer Comfort.

I also like the Blackhawk Serpa for open carry outdoors.

Comp Tac Infidel.

I hate OWB.

Serpa's are pretty UBE for field use.

For OWB I would rock a 55BN by Sparks.

In fact I have used a 55BN for a G19, as well as G21 for a very long time, with ZERO complaints. Wearing the G19 in one right now.

Some good ones already mentioned here. For the money a Don Hume 721, decent holster, rides high and tight. For one of the best owb, look at a Def-Con by Gary Brommeland. I like the Sparks 55BN also, nice holster.

I must be using mine incorrectly.

I've not shot myself.

I think this cop was using a Serpa type holster. Had a great deal of trouble making it work in the heat of battle.

Well, as Mack has already stated, a Milt Sparks 55 BN is a good option, but currently I'm running two different El Paso holsters for mine.

The one that see's the most use is El Paso Combat Express....gives a little more coverage than a Yaqui slide. The other is their Street Combat model which I use more for field use as it is longer/larger. Bothe are good quality and if you visit Bullets.com they have a holster clearance going on.

I also use a Street Combat for my Les Baer 1911.....

Greg, I have been carrying my 19 in a Blackhawk SERPA kydex holster. Don't see any reason to change.
