OP 1911a1 Campfire Tracker Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 5,681 Likes: 4 N.E. Texas	For sale face to face (I will drive up to about a 100 miles from Winnsboro Texas to meet) M1 Garand in like new condition. It was rebuilt by Marine armorers in 1966. It has the O-66 mark on the heel of the receiver that designates Marine Corp provenance. This is a rifle I received from the DCM in about 1994. I have never fired it. notice the grease pencil marks from the rebuild in 1966. An internet search of "O-66" letter o not zero for overhaul will provide back ground on this marking.
