Heard the title track to her upcoming "Ghosts of Highway 20" album today...fantastic as usual from her. Wish they would start playing good music like this on country radio again...damn I'm sick of all the "bro" country that isn't really country at all.

I got several of her CDs many years ago - I always liked her music.
She looks a little older now - Thanks for the heads-up!

Her 1979 CD RAMBLIN' is my favorite!
She covers old songs by Robert Johnson, Memphis Minnie, Hank Williams, & others.
She is accompanied only by guitarist John Grimando.

Tune into 95.9 The Ranch from Fort Worth, TX. I think you would enjoy our Red Dirt music. NO BRO COUNTRY. They play only the real stuff. Enjoy.

You hear quite a bit of her on the "Outlaw Country" channel on Sirius Satellite radio,

How the heck do you guys even listen to all that muddle schit they call Country these days. I grew up with my folks listening to George Jones, Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette, Glen Campbell, and Loretta Lynn.

Loved it, and I'm not even a big country music fan!

I DON'T. I've got XM radio in one vehicle, and a great CD collection for the others. I'd rather listen to a noisy lifter than the new crap being pushed on the country stations.

^^^This. I tune in whenever I'm near the west-o-plex and stream it otherwise. Good variety of great music.

I listen to her old stuff on youtube. She has been around a long time. Interesting stage presence, great music and lyrics. She wrote a lot of hits for other performers as well. There is just something mysterious about her that is very attractive to me.

Been listening to Outlaw Country in the work car, got a free trial of Sirius when I bought it. Trial expires in about 3 weeks and I'm leaning toward subscribing.

When I got my new to me truck right before my birthday, my wife surprised me with a SiriusXM subscription. Was nice heading up to my hunting spot listening to outlaw. A big plus as well snce we only have modern country on the radio around here.

I have liked her for years, she has a "different"style of voice.
Personally I can't stand country music, but I seen her open for the Allman Bros. a few times and enjoyed her.
