Just got some 'once fired' brass in a trade deal.

17% had split necks.

Once fired my ass.

Only deals I have gotten burned on over the years have been brass.

Honestly, you would have thought u would have learned ur lesson by now, if you've gotten burnt that many times...but some are just slow learners I guess.

haha, not like it was the same dude.

Bought plenty of brass online.

Plenty of honest sellers, but the few that arent really stick with you.

Not saying that you did not get ripped off....but there could easily be that many split necks from once-fired brass. It would mean they had been fired in a terrible chamber, and maybe only once.

Then it should have been disclosed. Even if represented as multiple times fired, split necks should not have been included, period.

I've been through this myself.

Once fired vs. fired once.

Future used brass transactions will need to answer if they have been fired only one time and how they acquired them.

I have never had splits after one or two reloads no matter the chamber condition.

I haven't had split necks yet in the brass I have purchased. I have bought brass where the number of cases I received wasn't the number of cases I purchased or I have gotten really dirty brass.
Whenever I sell brass, I always run it through the tumbler before shipping it off. I always like getting shiny brass when I open the shipping box and figure everyone else does as well.

The first transaction I ever made on the fire was brass. Over 200 pieces of 308 and Couldn't use a piece of it. It did however bring like 18 bucks as scrap metal. Didn't let it discourage me though

We need to keep CF as honest as possible, that gives the members confidence in buying.

Did you contact the seller with your problem??

If he's a decent guy he should make it right with you!
