Just found another "issue" with my Win 70 Safari 375...I loaded up 3 dummy rounds to feed through the rifle to work on feeding and help polish the action. Every time I load the 2nd to last round, the last round pops up and want to try to go into the action. I am not short stroking it. Is this a bad follower spring? Ramps need fixed? thoughts?

had a similar issue with a M70 in 264. changed follower to a milled one and it fixed the issue for me.
I can't spell... Deal with it...

got it from brownelles. that was about 4 years ago. i'm sure midway has them too.
mine would load the first fine and the third but when you worked the bolt to eject the first round, the second one would either fly out with it or get all wonky. almost threw that thing into the river over that. shoots good now though.

I've had the same issue with old mil-surps. Replacing the follower spring has always cured it.

It is probably the follower. The correct follower for the 375 is a machined aluminum follower part number 3600A1140. It should have a "D" marking on the bottom.

It's a new rifle. Too bad the factory didn't catch the problem before it left Portugal...
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Uh oh bsa about to get on his Portugal soap box rant....
Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

Uh oh bsa about to get on his Portugal soap box rant.... I know where a nice pre 64 model 70 375 H&H is for $1,800.00. It's twice the rifle of this Portugal made POS...
