Up for sale is a matching set of Smith & Wesson 38/44 HD's built by Jim Stroh and chambered in 44 Special. Both guns were sent to Jim at the same time. These are quite possibly the last guns that Mr. Stroh built. They both have his accuracy package, Taylor Throat, recrown barrel, recut forcing cones, B.C gap, cylinder end play and headspacing done. The front sights use allen head screws to change blades if necessary. Both have his master blue package and trigger and hammer have been color case hardened by Turnbull. The grips are walrus ivory and hand fitted by Patrick Grashorn. These are absolute "best" class Stroh guns. I also have the complete build sheet from Mr. Stroh for both guns. Price is 7000 for the pair + shipping.
