Got the .450 Howell reamer yesterday and now it's just a matter of opening the bolt face and extractor. Then the re-chambering can get done.

Well pump went out Friday morning. Well folks coming out today to look at it. I'm too damn old and crippled to pull a pump again. Gonna havta pay someone to do it. I know we are weeks out, but I hope we have water by then. Or I'm not gonna be able to get there. Depends on their schedule.

I'm confident we'll have water by then!

Kent, I'm bringing the latest acquisition!!!! Think you'll like it!!! wink

I've got a bunch of 270gr speers loaded up for my 9.3x57mm, and hopefully I'll have some ammo either loaded or bought for my new .30-40 Krag by then.
I should do the same for my 450/400 Nitro as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!

Looking forward to seeing you too, Tom.

BTW - one would suppose that those 270 gr Speers have lavender tips. What pastel shade will you use for the 450/400 Nitro?

Have 35 rounds loaded up for the .375 RUM (300 gr Hornady RN) and about 17 rounds of 350 gr Hornady RN for the .460 Wby. Also have 5 rounds of factory 500 gr Solids left for the .460 Wby.

So you're going to miss the Scout-o-Rama this year? It falls on Feb 20th so I will not be attending the get together this year. frown
Was really looking forward to seeing everyone again. Still waiting to see what happens with my shoulder.

Just got back from the site. Hasn't been used all winter it appears. We had it to ourselves last night and this morning. Road is bladed for the first 1/2 mile and then decent for the last mile. Buddy drove his Corolla in this morning with no problems.

I have been sick the last couple of days, but at various points went out and stuffed some marlin carbine loads.
It IS a 375 winchester, with a 250grain bullet. That ought to qualify for something.
i was thinking about stuffing that lead bullet in the 375H&H.

A .375 Winchester is a dangerous game rifle? Cast bullet loads in a .375 H&H?

Maybe I am off here, but I think the intent of Dangerous Game Rifle Shoot is for folks to shoot ACTUAL dangerous game rifles with ACTUAL full power loads. I don't know maybe that's just me...
If a guy wants to play baseball he should bring a bat to the game. If he wants to race cars he should bring a racecar.

No sandbagging here I'll be shooting full power 450/400 Nitro loads. 300gr soft points at 2600fps.
