Anybody shoot any of the Sig brand ammo? I haven't shot any yet but several local stores have it on the shelves and it seems reasonably priced. I bought a couple of boxes of 10mm for $26 a box of 50, next closest in price was $32 a box.

As a side note I had not bought a box of factory ammo in years and only bought what I did so I can shoot my new pistol until I get dies and a bullet mold rounded up, it was a definite eye opener. I don't think I could afford to shoot if I didn't load my own and cast bullets.

Interesting. If that's the case it should be decent stuff. I've used quite a bit of Hornady handgun ammo at work for testing and it has been great.

I ran through a box of the 380's (100 gr. FMJ) without a problem.

We the jury has returned the verdict on Sig 10mm ammo. At least out of my gun it sucks heavy ass. Function wise it was fine, accuracy wise it didn't show up. May just be my pistol but I couldn't get any less than a 4" cluster at 10yds with my forearms over a rest. HSM, Hornady, and CorBon ammo produced groups in the 1.75"-2.5" range at that distance. At least the brass should be okay to reload.

Thats because its not true. Sig makes all their own ammo. In fact they are moving from their current facility to anew 70,000 sqft facility this year. Sig was was the largest buyer of ballistic gelatin last year.....thats a lot of R&D.

I purchased component bullets. 124 gr 9mm. Made by Sierra. They shoot quite well.

Mirrors my experience with their 45.
