Yes, it is/was Where Carol Shelby and Wick Fowler held the chili cook-offs. I had a piece of land there - sold off the Terlingua Ranch - many years ago. Pretty rugged country.

Yes, it is/was Where Carol Shelby and Wick Fowler held the chili cook-offs. I had a piece of land there - sold off the Terlingua Ranch - many years ago. Pretty rugged country. I still buy and use Carrol Shelby's Original Texas Chili mix and still like, though it no longer comes in a brown paper bag.
