Found out they'll be made in 35 whelen in 2016. I'm in. Just hope Rem doesn't mess up on the quality! Hey you, ya you, hands off my CDL SF 35 whelen.

The CDL SS or SF is one of those rifles I must have at some point. I want one in .30-06 though. They're one of the handsomest rifles out there.

Agreed x 10 on both above. In remingtons it's a toss up for me between the CDLs and the older wood/laminated stocked mountain rifles.

I wish I didn't see this thread...I need another Whelen like a hole in the head. But I doubt I can resist. Hopefully it is twisted quicker than 1:16".
