That poor, decimated herd up there! May take years to recover the from the impact of multiple highly evolved (i.e. MacMillan, Leupy, Ingram, TSX toting) predators......who knows how big a sitka buck could grow, if it could beat the odds and survive long enough! (grin)

Okay....it looks like I have been spending too much time in the other forums.....and licking my wounds, regarding my losses this season<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />! Okay....looks like Annie posted the list...so that is taken care of....and I'll send everyone a PM with the address.....flies are due by January 1, 2007......after I hear back from everyone, via PM....I'll refine the list and see how many people are still interested. A co-worker whacked a neat little pile of caribou on a snowmachine hunt with a sled for hauling them out. Arranged them neatly in two rows in harness and laid a stuffed Santa suit in the snow.
He then posed in his best Planet of the Apes kill scene pose and took a picture. Captioned along the lines of "Hope your year was as successful as my late-season caribiou hunt..." and used as his Christmas cards it was a big hit with all... except his wife...
