They have been doing that quite a bit
I did get the Vortex they subbed for the 249.00 deal they had a few weeks ago its not what I wanted or needed

My $79 scope was on backorder till I got the notice that was cancelled just yesterday.
I didn't really need it..... I just ordered it because it seemed like a steal of a deal so I'm not upset in any way.

I'm not either just wonder why they do that? Do they get enough to cash to make interest off the money for the few days they keep it before refunding?

It would be my guess that they're paying their computer programmers to sell....sell....sell. I guess they need to hire a few extra to clear the item off the computer once everything's sold....lol!

My order for two of the $79 scopes was cancelled at 1:14 am this morning, or at least that's when they sent the email. I don't believe my card was ever charged, so they made nothing off of me.
