Hunt,15-20 mph isn't that bad and I know one this for certain you'll not kill one from your couch

Where we hunt deer and antelope in WY the you might have wait a week or two to get below 20mph.

I guess it just goes to show how different hunting is across our country. For us 20mph is a bad day! We rarely have much wind to deal with at all.

Deer move when deer have to.

There are times they prefer not to, but the rut can trump it all.

I"ve seen them move without issue in pouring rain, no rut. I"ve hunted light rain and seen nothing.

Often if its cold here, after a warm spell, they won't do much of anything until it warms...

if we get 25 mph winds we don't see as much, but after a day or three of any weather they HAVE to feed....

Go when you have time.

Locally, and its against the grain, but if we have freezing weather, they move best a few days later once it warms up again....
