Will a Remington 700, adl, 7 rem mag slip right in to a stock that's been bedded for a Remington 78? Thanks in advance for any info...

Should be no problem other than the minute differences between the two rifles. The 78 was just a "budget driven" 700. You will have to perform some minor fitting but that's probably all it would entail. Same situation if you were talking about two 78's or two 700's...each rifle is minutely different. I'm assuming the 78 stock is glass bedded?
You only live once, but...if you do it right, once is enough.

No two rifles are exactly the same. To do it right the old bedding should be taken down a little or at least roughed up some and the lug area relieved and rebedded. It might fit and work fine but it's not really bedded to it. It would be the same case with two 700s like godogs said.
