Ran out to the desert today to shoot a few guns, and the ground squirrels were out. Managed to bag a few with a 22 handgun I had along. Wasn't expecting them today or I would have brought along a 22 rifle...

Tom

I was out in the west desert of Utah yesterday, and saw a couple as well.

Was out coyote hunting and spotted one out on the snow, didn't have the 17 hmr with me so the .204 came to the rescue on Jan. 30th in Willow Creek, MT!
