CAR defense isn't the problem. It's the offense that is struggling against a stellar D. I'm impressed at how well they are handling the read option.

I couldn't believe how slow Carolina was on that last drive.

Peyton had a decent 1st half except for the INT. It would be nice if he could help Denver's DF more in the 2nd half by keeping Cam off the field.

The Broncos built this team for Payton's declining skills just like they did for Elway. Payton's job is to be a wily veteran and not play the hero. He forgot that for one moment and it most likely cost them a score.
I'm sure they'll remind him that during his halftime HGH IV.

That was inexcusable. They left a chance for 3pts on the table - be interesting to see if that comes back to bite them. I must admit to finding some joy in seeing Newton humbled a bit.
