Carolina needs Cam to grow up. All the talent imaginable, but the maturity level of a grade schooler.
On that last fumble Newton just QUIT on the play and didn't even try to dive on it. I don't if he was scared of getting hit or just said to hell with it and left his teammates holding the sack.

My 11 and 13 year old nephews are enamoured with CN. Maybe I'm too old fashioned, but his antics look like poor sportsmanship and really puts me off. CN's still young, maybe he'll come around.

I rewound that and recorded. Not sure why he reacted the way he did but he did jump to the right as if he expected the ball to be batted that way and appeared confused. Not defending Cam but that ball could have easily wound up to his right and not where one would have thought to jump in. Anyone who thinks Cam Newton is afraid to jump in the mix has not been watching CAR games this season. The guy exits every game bloodier than the next. How about giving him the benefit of his press conference before passing judgement.
