I just put an insurance card in.
You might think it contains a lot of cash, mostly paper cards.

I can remember when I only carried one little paper license, and none before that.

Mine is mostly "credit-card" style cards, only a few of which I ever need, but am afraid to take out because I might need them at some point.

This reminds me of the(true) story told by a nurse, who as part of her continuing education requirement toured the state mental health facility at Cherokee. The group was shown various patients and encouraged to visit with them to become more comfortable in dealing with patients with mental issues. She met an elderly gentleman who was stark naked except for a hat. She inquired why he chose not to wear clothes and he replied that no one ever came there. She then asked why he wore the hat and he replied, "Somebody might come".

I've read about doctors curing back pain by having a guy move his overstuffed wallet to a front pocket.

If that is a concern buy one of these.

I've been using these or about 10-12 years. I usually get about 3 years out of one, not bad for $20. They are so thin and flexible you don't know they are there even stuffed full of cards and money.

I carry about a dozen cards, drivers license, hunting license, insurance, debit card, carry permit, 2-3 different ID's, and 2-3 credit cards.

I get tired of the wallet.. sometimes its the spyderco delica acting like a money clip with cash, car insurance, health insurance, DL, and credit card.

Leave all the other stuff in the wallet.

My doc told me that was probably the cause of my back pain. So I pared siren my wallet to the essentials: drivers license, one debit card, hunting license, and a few bucks.

DL, CCL, Pesticide license, Health insurance card, Farm Bureau card, 3 credit cards, a few business cards (mine), Elks club key, Livestock inspector's card, Sam's Club card,- good thing I'm "light in the a ss" or I wouldn't have room for any cash!

Was told that in a company safety meeting over 15 years ago and have been carrying my wallet in my front pocket ever since. Still get the occasional back pain, but it still seemed to help.

Maybe you need one of these:

I bought one last year and it can carry about 16 cards fairly comfortably - plus the quality is outstanding..

Whenever the discussion comes up with the wife of where to put something to keep it safe, I suggest my wallet is the safest place on the planet. grin
