Im pretty sure the old guy that had this gun was in New England and shot a few wood chucks, he liked to do it in style! Money was no problem.... After 100's of Winchesters , many of them with me as second owner and talking with org owner when possible the history and story's seem to stick !Ive bought many face to face and you could see the gleam in their eyes when they went back in time... Folks did not start reaching out and touching them yesterday! After WWII many never picked up a gun again, many loved to hunt and teach their kids as well. Very Best WinPoor
