I am trying to find another wood stock in the model 70 featherweight, 2 pc base plate, long action. I can find tons of short actions and a few 1 piece floor plates, but not able to find what I am looking for. I called winchester and found they quit making them in 2006.

Searched alot of places on the web and ebay. Any ideas where to find one?

I've got a M70 .30-06 featherweight with 2 piece metal if you want to buy the entire rifle. Bought it new about 10-12 years ago.

Would a adapter to use 2 piece bottom metal in a one piece stock work for you?

Not perfect maybe but it may work if you find a stock for a 1 piece bottom metal.

I have pre 64 that came off a 30-06 w/recoil pad.

This had the floor plate on a hinge as one piece and then the rear that had the rear action screw and one hidden under the floor plate.

This is a take off as I make my own stocks.

PM me if interested and I can give more info
