Hope this is not a dumb question. i have just installed Talley light with 1 piece mounts, and I just have a question. The bases have numbers "1" and "2" on the bottom. # 1 is shorter than # 2. Since the front part of the rifle receiver is taller than the rear where the mount holes are. I am assuming that "1 " is the front mount and "2" is the rear. The rifle is a Marlin X7, which takes the same mounts as Win Model 70.Thanks in advance.
