I disagree, as the average time from nomination to confirmation is only about 2 months. That said, it depends who this [bleep] nominates. Holder doesn't stand a chance of being confirmed, but you can bet the house that he will certainly nominate only ultra liberal judges. Our only hope is that the republican majority will not confirm an ultra liberal. Of course the MSM press will inject itself into the process and report how unfair the republicans are behaving. It may not be an ultra liberal, but a liberal will be confirmed.

It will be interesting to see how tonight's debate and candidates handle this dynamic.

Wrong. The Senate must first agree to put the confirmation proceedings into motion and I can think of no way this will happen in the heat of an election cycle/primary.

Senate just announce that have confirmed Obama's nominee.

"We don't know yet who it is going to be, but we're going to go ahead and confirm him to show that we are the party that knows how to govern" said senate majority leader Mitch McConnell.

Sorry to lose a good one. Prayers for everyone.

P.S. Couldn't it have been Ginsburg?

Not a chance the senate will let this go forward before the next president is elected. Any Republican(and it better not be you Lindsey Graham you stupid fkk) who votes for Obama's appointment would probably get shot. Just now way it's going forward.

The MSM will be complicit in helping Obama get one of his appointments confirmed. It will take maybe 3 or 4 appointments, but he will get someone confirmed with their help.

I've lost count of how many times "no way this will happen" has been uttered under RINO leadership the last 10 years, only to be proven wrong.

Like Cruz and Rubio will leave the campaign trail for a couple of months because the Senate will be having a confirmation hearing in the middle of the primaries.

THE SKY IS FALLING!

Did all those things happen in the middle of an election?
