I had Doug make this recently and now due to unforeseen circumstances, I could use the cash more than the knife. It is new, unused. Handle is moose horn. Blade is about 3 1/4" long of cutting surface. total length is around 8 3/4". Forged from 52100 steel. I paid $475 for it, and would like to get something close to what I paid.
Might possibly work trades on binoculars, rangefinder, rifle, scopes.
I believe it's convex. I will post some other photos, but I have no idea how to get them to post that you can see them within the thread. They will have to be clicked on like the 1st post.
Guys, I could really use the cash for this and will take a reasonable offer.
The back story on this knife is, I had Doug make it for a good friend of mine. My plan was to give it to him as a gift in May while up on a bear hunt. In the middle of Doug building this knife and shipping it to me, my friend got some terrible news about one of his children. It's not my place to post someone else's misfortune over the internet, but let's just say he is in pretty deep with med bills and treatments.
He knows about the knife and while he appreciates the gesture, he could really use the cash more, so I told him I would try to sell it and give him the money and any other help I could.
I'm going to leave this up for a few more days, and if it doesn't sell I will sell other items I have to help him out.
