What type of plug screw is required for a 1953 model 70 FWT to fill the holes on the side of the receiver where a peep sight would be mounted? With or without stop? Where is a good place to puchase other than e-bay?
Thanks

Most likely 6-48,
Brownells has them.

Most likely 6-48,
Brownells has them. I Know the thread size but there are two types, some with a stop that limits depth and some without. I did not see them specifically for model 70's on Brownell's web sight.

+1 And they won't fall down into the action when the headless ones start turning because of recoil. Please don't ask me how I know.

I must have thousands of them.
