just post the gps #s, i'll be coming up 624 to cotulla. do they have a web site that might have the Gps Coordinates.

Instead of progressing due south on 83 out of Uvalde you must take Ranch Road 117 to Batesville.
This will cross Hwy 57 which is OK....continue on until the road forks and take the right hand road...Ranch Road 1025
This will kinda fork again, continue to your right on Ranch Road 1025
After a few miles take a left on Ranch Road 395, go about six miles and you will see the gate, though it is marked Thompson Hunting camp( the old owners..)
I imagine arrivals will be somewhat coordinated and we will be met at the gate and escorted to our posh living quarters!
note, turn around if you come to large river...

I was in Batesville 6 months ago hunting Dove. I can find that wide space in the road.

Thanks, I'll take your word for it. There's a whole lot of nothing out there, so I'm sure we'll find it. Looking at Google Earth, I see something right past 582, but not sure. It might be an old picture and not showing up. I'll just stop periodically and listen for the gunning.

With Dan shouting out directions from the passenger seat, I only traveled 3 hours to find paper plates and missed the entrance to our last Texas hunt by about 22 miles.
We'll be there sometime around noon...to 4pm.

I'm not worried, at all.
With Dan shouting out directions from the passenger seat, I only traveled 3 hours to find paper plates and missed the entrance to our last Texas hunt by about 22 miles.
We'll be there sometime around noon...to 4pm. 22 miles? Oh man, and he's the one that's gonna get some clearer directions for us. But then again, beggars can't be choosers. I'll just drive up and down 395 until I find it. It can't be that hard to find, that road is only about 10 miles long.

I was trying to remember the name of that spectacular place we ended up at that morning.
That's one of those 15K deer hunt places, Dan.
Tennessee still takes the cake on churches, though.
We saw about 25 of them in a 3 mile stretch.
