I am a newcomer to the blade forum. If anyone has the Randall knife book," Rare, Unique & Experimental" by Robert E. Hunt. I have a question on a statement. Mr Hunt on page 157 states that Pete Hamilton shop foreman said the Randall number 18 survival knife with knurled handle, 5 1/2 inch blade of stainless steel, were made in a quantity of about 50 or so. Is this true? Was that model reintroduced later and made in greater quantities or did production end in the 80's??
