So, that's the hope for the Tikka/Sako announcement as well, I'm assuming.

Rangefinder scope like the Burris Eliminator..... just a guess. I would think this has to be the goal of at least a couple of alpha glass makers, and to make one smaller and lighter than a short fence post.

Rumor I heard is that they are coming out with a Z8 line of scopes.
We shall see!! If this happens maybe the price on the Z-5's will come down some...... but I doubt it.

Rumor has it a new rimfire from Sako, a rimfire offered from Tikka along with updates on the T3! It should be interesting and of course then waiting to see which products Beretta is going to bring here!

Rangefinder scope like the Burris Eliminator..... just a guess. Didn't Swaro and Zeiss do that once already to the tune of ~$3k? An 8x32 EL LRF would be sweet!

My guess is new alpha class binos, in a hybrid porro/roof design. Leica owns the patent for that. Perger Porro.

I found this on another site, the new Swarovski offering is a new riflescope with a 8X zoom range.
To compete with offerings from Zeiss and S&B.

The new model is a 8X zoom scope, and that means it goes 8X from low to highest zoom.
Zeiss has the Victory V8 series, 1-8x30, 1.8-14x50.
Not your everyday scope. A very small market but they need to keep up with the others.

I found this on another site, the new Swarovski offering is a new riflescope with a 8X zoom range. Winner, winner; chicken dinner. Z8i, illuminated, 4 models to chose from. Begins shipping in June 2016.
