I'd like to bring the .22-250AI but flying limits me to 2 rifles
The 7mm/08 has Leupold QR rings so I just pop the scope off and put it in my carry on leaving more room in the gun case for my kill light knives etc
Also it's stainless incase we get rain
Besides its a shootin son of a biitch

Sorry Carl but there is a fairly long line of folks ahead of you. That little gun is amazing. Im no Stunt shooter but I have made some shots with that little gun that I still cant believe. Any misses out of this gun aint the guns fault. Maybe I should get in line..... So I make another run with the Ruger #1V .223. Tried 3 new bullets in it, all loaded with Varget. I also measured the twist at 1 in 9", not 1 in 8". Thats better. You might try the 68 gr hornady HPBT they say they shoot well in 1 in 9" guns.
