Savage 99 and Tikka 25-06 are getting rung out in the morning.

Hell I pizz blood when I rattle off multiples of three at an inch and a half with my big critter rifles.

I lied guys It wasnt .300 it was .400 I apoligize:)

So after blasting away with a number of toys over the past few weeks I have settled on this:

A receiver sighted custom Erfurt 8x57 Mauser (180 gr BT proven in Africa) and either a Single Six 41 Special (215 gr SWC proven on a bittie 100# hog) or an Old Model 44 Mag Bisley (proven on range paper) for the potential daylight shot and just "fun to shoot the hell outta" stuff. Oh, and my SxS slug gun (proven on a 200# hog).

Night time stuff will be a pre'64 358 Win with the 200 gr TTSX (proven on an azzload of African critters) and a post'64 stainless 375 H&H (to be proof'd on a brown bear in a couple of months).

tendinitis in left shoulder may interfere with clay birds unless someone packs a small shotgun

Ive got a bum shoulder too and didn't realize how bum till last years pig hunt....shot about a dozen 12 gauge shells and was sorry for a solid month! cry

So when the fly birds are getting thrown, you guys will have to settle for the vast wisdom in my supervision and critique.....

Or I'll just let Carl do it. He can hit anything with anything.

Or maybe Pat...if he brings his bent barrel shotgun.

Pat and okie are the two best shotgunners I've ever seen.

It's going to be fun knowing these boars will be a bit more challenging than the ones on Xanax I've killed.

I'll bring it so there will be at least one fine weapon in camp.

I got my pic taken in front of Pat and Dana's birds, too.

You always got your limit Dan, after persevering, hard work.
