Have a McMillan edge on my wife and daughters 7-08AI and need to put declerator or other softer pad as current pad not much of a pad at all. Want to keep the current length of pull but cant seem to get the pad off.

It is glued on probably. Send it back and ask them to put one on. They are pretty good about that kind of stuff.

No need to consider any other pad, the Decelerator is as fine a recoil pad as there is out there it does a great job of softening recoil.

sorry for late response not much of a pad at all..1/2 and hard the typical pad on the edge probably to save weight I guess
