After a hostile debate on Thursday, many speculated that Trump was “afraid” of the audience at CPAC (which, from my perspective as an attendee, seems to favor Cruz, then Rubio). As the Gateway Pundit reported however, Trump may have a legitimate reason. Likely factoring into Trump’s decision was a planned protest walkout during his speech at CPAC and the need to have a campaign presence in Kansas. The organizer of the walkout, William Temple, who parades around CPAC in colonial garb, told BizPacReview he expected one thousand CPAC attendees to participate in the Trump walkout. Temple organized a similar walkout last year during Jeb Bush’s speech at CPAC that drew around 300 protesters. Even if the protest were staged, who doubts this would be reported in the media as an uncoordinated revolt against Trump? http://www.allenbwest.com/2016/03/we-just-found-out-why-trump-skipped-out-on-cpac/

No winning candidate should be fearful of a noose, unless he isn't really a winner. I do believe Trump should waste no time convincing "his party" that there is a mutual need for him....

Agreed in the first point, but having spent his time burning bridges, more time used to convince of a mutual need has already gone up in smoke.

Gateway Pundit has been panning for Trump for 7 months, it got so bad I had to stop reading the blog.
If there was a planned silent protest/walkout that garnered a lot of support, it was probably because.. well.. he's not conservative.

I suspected some sort of foul play planned for Trump by the establishment at CPAC. Trump likely had intelligence on it, explaining his decision.

Foul play cannot be committed against the most foul acting, speaking and thinking lieberal in the race. I'm sure even Trump is amazed how easily some people are deceived. Truly a sign of the times.

Yes, Cruz did win the 2 smaller caucuses yesterday while Trump won the 2 big contests.
Now, here's where your wish-tacting will truly have you defying reality...what do you see Cruz obtaining by way of delegates through March 16th?

Don't think Trump is the least bit amazed at how easily people are deceived. He's been doing it for months now. His off the record interview may be his end if/when it comes out. Don't think many people will be very happy when hearing how Trump thinks they're gullible fools and he is lying to get votes and has no intention of doing half the things he says he will.
