That makes sense, I'll give that a try on the next batch.

I fired 3 test loads yesterday in my brass. My best group was .6 but all the brass looked good after firing, no splits or cracks. This is really the fireforming step so that might be the best accuracy I can expect at this stage. Just out of curiosity I weighed my fired brass and compared it to Remington once fired factory brass. My brass averaged .4 grain heavier but seemed to be more consistent in weight.

Think I found an acceptable fire forming load. This is out of a factory Remington 700 SPS with nothing done to it other than I adjusted the trigger so, I'm pretty happy with it.
