Here's the latest carving my Dad has finished. Very nice, Mark. I'd like to see the gyrfalcon and the ruddy duck if you have pictures handy.
As others have said, I'm in awe of such talent. My artistic skills are so poor that I actually got a "D" for one 6 week period of high school art class. Heck, I have to trace something round to make a proper bull's-eye.

Very nice!!! I think owls are the toughest birds to carve. Coming from you sir, that is a huge compliment. This bird took 16 weeks of working on it every day. It's amazing, much better than the picture shows. I'll take pics of some of his work, and one of mine. Mark
