What Gov. Jerry Brown, D-Calif., just promised to do if GOP front-runner Donald Trump becomes president may turn out to be the most persuasive pro-Trump argument conservatives have received this election cycle.
During an event in Sacramento, Calif., yesterday, Brown told labor unions that with Trump in the White House, they would “have to build a wall around California to defend ourselves from the rest of this country,” according to local area newspaper The Sacramento Bee.
Sincere apologies go out to any right-wingers still left in the beautiful state.
Immediately following the statement, Brown used a line from Hillary Clinton’s talking points which said, “That is a joke. We don’t like walls, we like bridges.”
Brown refers to the building of a wall around California, which has become a sort of liberal utopia, as a way to mock one of Trump’s most favorable policy positions to seal off the Mexican-American border in order to end illegal immigration and the flow of drug trafficking into the country.
For California, illegal immigration and Mexican cartel drug trafficking is one of the state’s biggest problems that has gone unaddressed by liberal policies, and sometimes even promoted.
The state has one of the largest illegal immigrant populations, coming in at around 3 million, and costing taxpayers in the state $25.3 billion a year for social services for illegals, according to research by the Federation for Immigration Reform.
To educate illegal immigrant children alone in the state of California, including expanded English language programs, costs taxpayers $14.4 billion annually; another $4 billion in tax dollars pays for the medical expenses of illegal immigrants in the state.

GOOD! Maybe it will keep them there!
When I no longer have the right to protect my own person or property...my person and property have become public property in common.

Some great people in California. (Just not enough.)
The only thing worse than a liberal is a liberal that thinks they're a conservative.

Maybe we should take up a collection to help pay for it.
While it's true that all liberals are crazy people, not all crazy people are liberals.

That would be a promise I hope Brownie is willing to keep. Although the San Andreas Fault could get a lot accomplished too.
My home is the "sanctuary residence" for my firearms.

Just build it from San Francisco to Sacramento South. We're good folks up here in the North part of the state. Been trying to split the state for years but it won't happen as we are the ones paying for welfare, food stamp, unemployment and a host of other stuff.
