Anyone found a good load for the Venture 7mm08 for pigs and deer? I bought a 100 pieces of Lapua brass and before I start buying components, I would appreciate a jump start.

Thanks Darryle

I believe anything from a 120 gr BT on up and anything from varget to reloder 17 , Any4350s or 760(H414) will bring you success....

You're going to love the way that gun shoots ...they're right next door to Tikka's in shooting accuracy reputation.

This^^^
I have one in 30-06 and it's the most accurate rifle I have.... One thing that chaps me though. Is I wonder why they offer the 7-08 in 1-9 twist and the 7mm Rem mag in 1-10. WTF!!!

My wife and I both shoot semi-custom Rem 700s 7-08s here in TX for deer and pigs. Both guns love 140 gr Accubonds over RL-15.

140gr Accubonds and a max load of H4350 worked great in mine.

IMR 4064 with a 130 Speer BTSP or H414 with a 140 Barnes TTSX. These are the 2 loads I use in my 7mm-08.

Break out your checkbook because there are so many loads suitable for the 7-08 that you're going to invest a lot of bucks to find a best load.

I've shot deer with 139 gr Hornadys; 140 grain Rem Corlocts and Noslers; 145 gr Speer HotCors; and 160 gr. Speer Grand Slams. All deer died pronto.

Use any 4350 or Varget type powder and kill all you want without overthinking the load.
