There has not been an unreasonable amount of anger, imo. We've been arguing politics for 3-5 months and some have bought in to winning/losing.
I believe most of it is perceived slights that aren't all that bad. I got called out today for an insult that I had no intention of being taken as an insult. If I was trying to insult someone I would leave very little doubt about if it was meant to be taken that way. LOL
The other thing is that most of us are patriarch types, and intelligent, and honestly used to getting our own way more times than not, so arguing with an "Internet blockhead" that won't change his mind is irritating and we've started to take it personally.
There are good people here, give the other guy the benefit of the doubt.
