You mean a social life like going out shooting/fishing with a good friend like he's doing now verses obsessing over a thread, posting 3rd grade fantasies as if it was reality like yourself John... You're how old again...

It ain't easy being a has been who never was but you're doing a damn fine job...

Carry on...

EHG.....

you're taking this waaaaaay too seriously....

I really don't thinking anyone else, including Schtick takes this entire thread seriously.....

Heck I like the little Moroon, or I would just put him on ignore... I've even posted he'd be a welcomed guest in my home just about like almost any other campfire member...

since we are all accused of being "pretend".. if anything hurts Stumpy's feelings when he gets back, we'll 'pretend' to give him a group hug for him....

So I'll follow your advice and "Carry On".....

thanks....

and best regards....

Tried just the head today and she only kicked once. Slight chance she'll make a cow.

One benefit of working nights is that it's a good excuse to take an early afternoon off from work.

Perfect shooting conditions.
(other than the wind...)

Might need to try a different powder in the 270?

Your 27-06 is running a little cold. Better Ackley that bitch and see if you can get it up to 1000-1100fps! I've heard of Kimber roulette, but damn.....just, damn. Must be a slow twist barrel.

Never seen 8 lugs on a taco....

Bro, I like that idea!

Mag primer?!

Chronied a 3" 9mm with 3 different loads. Matched up very close to published data. My uber sweet handloads made 1110fps with 124 Hornady FMJ's.

And what are you guys getting for speed with a 243 and 90-95 grains bullets?

3150fps sound about right?

Reconfirmed today that 3030fps is the sweet spot for 140 Accubonds in the 270 MT. Uber wicked!
(and the 243 seems to shoot better on warm days, the 270 doesn't seem to care)

The TRD's are all 8 lug now, they've really beefed those badboys up!

41.5gr 4350 gives me +/- 3050 with the 95gr nbt's in a 10 twist Winchester with a 22" barrel.

Just looked at notes, 95 Partitions went 3130fps and 90 Scenars went 3140.
42-42.5 grains of H4350.
(22" factory MT)

Partitions shot just as good as the Scenars!

Dan, actually didn't see the little dot or, as some call it, a decimal point, until I saw the pic on a bigger screen.

Initially thought I had found nirvana with the 270 until I saw the 3" 9mm in my hand(147 grain hollow points).

Jack, accuracy is all you need!

Bought a couple 1911's in 45. Kimber and a custom built on a Springfield Armory GI, sold my 9's and never looked back. A Kimber gold match stainless in 9mm could follow me home if I find one though.
