This Steyr Pro chambered for the 376 Steyr has become my favorite foul weather hog thumper. Shoots good! Heck I like it so much I've started carrying it when the weather ain't bad! JAPPFT, GWB

SammO, I've really enjoyed this thread, great idea. I'll take this Hill Country Rifles 7mm Rem Magnificent and 150 BT's after W TX muleys..... [img:left] [/img] I've had a Tikka 695 7mm Rem Magnificent for almost 20 yrs and it will see some action no doubt...... [img:left] [/img] [img:left] [/img] and will look forward to whacking lots of hogs, whitetails, and aoudad culls with my new Mcwhorter 7mm08, wearing a 24" #3 Hart, using 120 BT's, 140 AB's, and 140 NPT [img:left] [/img]
It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

Now I see why you were blowing out the Nosler Patriot in 7mm-08. Its a sweet shooter and luv the trigger. The HCR ain't too shabby neither. Best, GWB

Coming from the 24HCF Gunfather I'll take that as a compliment! That Nosler will shoot though, bro, as I'm sure you know by now.

I took it with me on the 24hr hog hunt in Crystal City. However I took the 376 Steyr first morning and limited out (only let one shoot 4 hoglets). Consequently I did not get a chance to employ it. Went to the Petting Zoo for a couple days last week but only snared a hog and I did for him with a Pistola.......... I'm hoping to head back Thursday and bloody the Patriot on a hill country hoglet. Ya' GWB

Here is one I prolly should not have let follow someone else home. Winchester M70 Supergrade, 300 WSM. Got it from a friend already zero'd along with 24 rounds of his handloads. Loaded with 150 gr. Sierra Spitzers. Made 24 one-shot kills with it. GWB

Jason,
you been holding out on me!
I've not seen those.
That Sako is killer!
And I'd love to take advantage of you in a trade on the 6.5 mag (like that's gonna happen).
Ya!
GWB
PS: Farmington on second photo?

I'll put up a couple even though it was probably meant to be one. First the old, Winchester 71 The new is my 6.5X55

[img:left] [/img] [img:left] [/img] My M70 300 WM has been getting some use again. It's factory except the barrel has been cut down to 23 inches. Shooting a 180 NP with 76 Grains of RL22.

My favorite and most used rifle is probably my M70 Supergrade in 300 Remington Ultra Mag. It's long and heavy but has been through some tough hunting conditions. It seems to attract the skin head animals. [img:center] [/img] [img:center] [/img] [img:center] [/img] [img:center] [/img]
