Day and the Amish are flocked to the bar.....actually fishing the river behind it. We then took a little ride through Amish country and then past the site were Buford Pusser was ambushed and his wife murdered. Last stop was along the state line where the Shamrock was and Pusser killed Louise Hathcock. All the old joints are long gone and there is only one state line bar left. Just bumming around for the day.

The blue igloo is a nice touch. Where are the horses or do they strap them buggies to their womenfolk?

Scott somewhere I have a picture of about 8 buggies parked in the China Buffet parking lot. Cracked me up the first time I saw it but I hear they are that places best customers.
They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

It's fun to watch the Amish go about their business. We'll be out hunting in north-east NE and will come around a bend to find a horse and buggy clip-clopping along. I used to think they were "backwards" but as crazy as things are getting, I think they may have this deal figured out!!
Biden's most truthful quote ever came during his first press conference, 03/25/21. Drum roll please...... "I don't know, to be clear." and THAT is one promise he's kept!!!

Yeah, they might actually be onto something the way the world is going these days.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

Watched the Amish fight a fire in a carriage house. It was mid-January and cold enough to make the brass monkeys scream. They were using a teams of draft horses to pull the walls of the building down so they could get to the flames and beat them out with wet burlap bags. One of the teams decided that they didn't like having a huge flaming wall attached to their tails. The fella who was driving couldn't hold them with the reins and it took two or three or guys catching their bridles and pulling their heads down to stop them. Much more entertaining than watching some guy squirt water from a pumper truck.

Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

Some say Pusser murdered his wife because he was having multiple affairs. Also some say Louise Hathcock was shot in the back. Who knows for sure?
