You clearly see Corey grab her bicep for a nano-second yet she showed law enforcement bruising on her forearm.
The "almost knocked me to the floor" allegation by Fields is laughable, especially as she surges back to Trump after Corey stops her initial assault.

I haven't seen it since the day it happened, but thought then 'that's grounds for assault', seriously? I'm 6'-4"/230 and have been knocked around/shoved harder than that on most every flite I've ever been on.

Speaking of that, if there were assault, how many reporters are standing there to witness it? It'd be a hell of a story for any one of them to be able to corroborate. How many cameras are in that room?

Lewandowski then grabbed Fields left arm with his right hand, causing her to turn and step back. This motion cleared a path for Lewandowski to walk past Fields, allowing him to "catch up" and get closer to Trump, who was walking during this entire incident.
Based on the above-described investigation, probable cause exists to charge Corey Lewandowski, DOB 9/18/1973, with (1) count of Simple Battery... Officer Marc Bujnowski

If you walk up and touch somebody in a grocery store without their permission, that is technically battery. So there is probable cause to support the charge. No big thing there. As to the conviction, we'll see.
The bigger story is someone...anyone filing charges on anything that is so clearly chickenschit. Alo that has happened is that he has been summoned to court. The prosecutor might drop it when he does. This is is Mayberry RFD level court.
